For simplicity, the forum has only two sections:
PHP Internals read-only
Currently it serves as a mirror for php.internals mailing list. Think of it as a better UI to read the discussions. At some point we may add reply capabilities, but for that, we need your involvement and feedback.
General writable
Here you can share anything. Questions about the foundation, rough ideas for PHP, concerns.
How is that different from php/php-src or Internals mailing list? Here you can share thoughts and insights without technical implementation unlike on php/php-src. It could be quicker and less formal compared to the mailing list. The ideas can also be not directly related to the source code.
This is not a PHP support forum. Not yet, at least. Please use other platforms to get help.
And remember, this is not chat – your message should add value to the discussion. If you want to express agreement – better use reactions.
