Hi,

Thanks to Juris, Tim and Mick for their comments about my proposal. The comments about naming provide really useful hints and I will update it to take them into account

Given that not many people commented on this I would now like to create a formal RFC so that more discussion can happen around it. Can I please get some karma so that I can create the RFC in the wiki?
